Meet Our Lead Pastors
Our Pastors Jon and Jessie Davis have a heart for God, our community and for people!
In 2018, after spending 14 years loving and serving at the local church and pioneering a young adult ministry, Jon and Jessie felt a nudge from God. That year turned into a year of prayer and fasting, as they felt God calling them to “build something new” with Jesus. In 2019 Jessie and Jon left their church and jobs and began a church planting residency at Cherry Hills Community Church. There the call became more clear: To build a church for those “for the one.”
They base their vision off of Ephesians 4: There is One God, One Baptism, One Hope, One Father over all, in all through all. One City would be a church for the One true God and the one who needs Him. Jon and Jessie have three kiddos: Brooklyn Diane, Georgia Faith, and Houston Jonathan. They love tacos, building with the matchless One City Team, and time with their kids.
